PLAYER GUIDE

Achievements & Rewards

Achievements record one-time milestones. Daily missions give each UTC day a focused objective. Both award device-local coins for cosmetic skins and trails—never combat upgrades.

All nine achievements

An achievement unlocks once on the current browser profile and immediately adds its coin reward. Progress is checked during active play or at the relevant wave transition; there is no manual claim button.

One-time achievement conditions and coin rewards.

Wave 20 SurvivorReach Wave 20400
Wave 30 SurvivorReach Wave 30800

A shielded hit does not count as life-losing damage, so it preserves the Untouchable condition. Wave milestones unlock when the next target wave is reached; the Wave 5 achievement does not require defeating the first boss.

Achievement routes that work together

First run route

First Blood is automatic after the first elimination. Preserve a clean early wave for Untouchable, then keep eliminations inside the three-second combo grace period to reach Combo Master.

Boss route

Reach Wave 5 for Wave 5 Survivor, then defeat Neon Titan for Boss Hunter. Learn its rotating ring and charge in the boss guide.

Score route

The 10,000- and 100,000-point achievements care about one run, not your lifetime total. Safe combo preservation, clean waves, and boss rewards are more reliable than forcing every near miss.

Long-run route

Wave 20 and Wave 30 demand mixed-pattern consistency. Use the enemy guide to plan lanes before faster combinations arrive.

Daily Signal missions

One of four missions is selected from the UTC date. Progress from a completed run is added to the current mission, capped at its target, and the reward is granted once for that UTC day. A new UTC day replaces the previous mission state on the next profile load.

The four missions rotate in a fixed date-based sequence.

Clear 12 waves12 completed waves240
Defeat 2 bosses2 boss defeats260
Earn 50,000 total score50,000 score accumulated across runs250

Kill, wave, and boss missions use their matching run totals. The score mission adds the final score from each completed run, so several smaller runs can finish it. Mission progress does not need a global leaderboard submission to update locally.

Orb skins and trails

The Cosmetic Hangar spends locally earned coins. Owned items can be equipped again without paying twice, and every item is visual only.

Orb skins

  • Ion Cyan — included
  • Pulse Magenta — 500 coins
  • Solar Flare — 1,100 coins
  • Void Violet — 2,200 coins

Trails

  • Comet — included
  • Ribbon — 700 coins
  • Stardust — 1,600 coins

Changing a skin changes player-shot and orb color. Trails alter the path effect behind the orb. Neither changes hitboxes, damage, movement speed, auto-targeting, score, or power-up odds.

XP, coins, and persistence are separate

XP raises the displayed local level. Coins purchase local cosmetics. Achievements and daily missions award coins, not XP. Runs also earn XP and coins from their combat results; the exact formulas are in Difficulty & Progression.

All of this progression is stored in the current browser profile. Clearing site data or changing devices can reset local achievements, mission state, balance, and cosmetics. Verified global scores are stored separately and are not a backup of the local profile.

Reward strategy without grinding badly

  • Let the current daily mission choose the run’s focus instead of forcing all objectives at once.
  • For coin efficiency, longer safe runs combine enemy coins, wave rewards, bosses, achievements, and the mission payout.
  • Do not risk a run for cosmetic currency: the Hangar provides no combat advantage.
  • If you want a score achievement, review what actually multiplies in the Scoring & Combos guide.
